Here I am mad as hell at you
(she’s really mad) You did it
again what you said you
wouldn’t do (that man will
never learn)I could scream, I
could shout, I could throw
stuff around but what would
that prove? Instead   I’ll just
go walk the dog (you go
girlfriend) Sometimes it’s like
I’m talking to a wall (mmm-
hmm) And I wonder why I’m
talking to you at all    (well I’
ve always wondered that)
When I put on my walkin’
boots and head out the door
You better pray I just go walk
the dog   (girl, those boots
are made for walkin’) I’ll
spend my time with someone
who loves me   Who doesn’t
complain that he’s on a
leash  He honors, he obeys,
he never does me wrong
That’s why
I’d rather go walk the dog.
You said that you wanted to
settle down   (that’d be the
day) No longer go out
drinkin’ on the town(like that’
ll ever happen) But again you’
re in the dog house licking
off your wounds So I’m
packin’ up the dog, I’m done
with you (oooh, she’s
soooooo  done) I’ll spend my
time with someone who
loves me Who doesn’t
complain that he’s on a leash
He honors, he obeys, he
never makes me blue So I
walk with the dog instead of
you He honors, he obeys, he
never makes me blue So I
walk with the dog oh I walk
with the dog oh I walk with
the  dog…instead of you
C’mon boy, let’s go!

Nashville bound...

Sherry and Dana recently travelled to Nashville with Tenille and Monique
Nadkrynechny to do some writing and relaxing for eight days! While there, we wrote
with Tim Taylor (Ten Million Teardrops - Jason McCoy) and Stan Webb (I'm From
the Country - Tracy Byrd). We also got to hang out with some great friends Blake
Emmons, Cassey Walker and Marlee Scott. We even enjoyed Canadian
Thanksgiving in Nashville thanks to Tim and his lovely wife Jeannie!

We were immersed in music the entire week, not only writing it, but also enjoying it
by taking in the Bluebird Cafe,  the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of
Fame, Tootsie's and an amazing benefit concert by Keith Urban and
friends....friends included Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Faith Hill, Taylor Swift and a few
others!

Of course, we got some shopping in there as well... but just a little bit :)
