Biography

The No Limitz singer/songwriter duo of Dana Blayone & Sherry Crawford create a mixture of emotions with their songwriting skills, fresh style and blended harmonies that have been compared to the likes of Blue Rodeo, kd lang, Alison Krauss and the Sweethearts of the Rodeo.

Sherry and Dana began as an acoustic duo in 2003 and recorded their first CD "Dreamin' Big" soon after. In 2005, they opened for Johnny Reid and Corb Lund and in 2007 the girls, along with their band recorded their second album "I Know What I Know, and That's Not Everything" with Juno award winning engineer Josh Rob Gwilliam. They released the title track to national radio in 2008. That winter they released their upbeat Christmas song "Crank Up the Heat".  They have performed at Peacefest, Magnificant River Rats Festival and the Rombs Country & Bluegrass Festival as well as many Corporate events and house concerts.  They also have hosted the Peace Region Music Industry Conference for the past four years bringing in hit songwriters and exposing them to local artists and songwriters.

In March of 2011 they released their third album "Hold That Thought". Full of emotion and rich musical color, it’s a mature and thoughtful look at love in all its aspects, many of the songs co-written with award winning artists such as Duane Steele, Tim Taylor and Jay Semko. It has received many positive reviews from their peers and the musical community.  They are currently working on promoting and supporting new talent in the Peace Region of Alberta and are always on the look out for co-writing opportunities.

They’ve shared the stage with Duane Steele, Sean Hogan, Ian Tyson, Jay Semko, Russell Broom, PEAR, Codie Prevost and Jake Mathews to name a few. They have also had the pleasure of performing with
Grande Prairie's sweetheart Tenille and co-wrote with her on two of her Radio/Video released songs "Wendy(Can You Hear Me Peter Pan)" & "Pictures on a Crooked Wall".

As a duo, trio or with all of their band mates, they love to perform at festivals, entertain dance crowds or in an intimate acoustic setting. Whether you're talking to them in person or watching their performance,  their positive energy will have you believing there really are "No Limitz"!
